Poster Gladiator Battle Returns to DAC, The Chips to Systems Conference
Twenty industry gladiators to defend their technical posters to panel of expert judges and the audience
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – May 22, 2025 – Sharpen your wits and take your seats (and bring a toga if you’d like): The annual Poster Gladiator competition is back at DAC, The Chips to Systems Conference, and it’s bringing the energy, intensity, and fun the engineering community has come to love.
Twenty fierce and fearless Gladiator finalists have been selected from the DAC Engineering Track to face off in a series of rapid-fire poster presentations, where each contender will defend their technical work before an audience of peers and a panel of expert judges. The stakes? Eternal glory—or at least bragging rights as the 2025 DAC Poster Gladiator Champion.
Set in the DAC Pavilion, the competition is a crowd favorite and blends serious technical rigor with a dose of showmanship. Presenters must win over both the judges and the audience, who collectively decide which gladiator's ideas are sharpest, clearest, and most impactful.
Poster gladiators will be judged on the following criteria:
- Engineering Tracks reviewer scores,
- Originality and creativity of the work being presented,
- Clarity and writing style,
- Impact of the gladiator's ideas and work.
Battle Schedule:
- Monday, June 23 – 5:00 P.M. PDT
- Tuesday, June 24 – 5:00 P.M. PDT
- Wednesday, June 25 – 2:00 P.M. PDT (Final Round)
The 2025 Poster Gladiator Champion will be announced immediately following the final battle at 3:00 P.M.
